Description of Project:

  • Replace main rink HVAC unit.
  • Replace Condensing units serving main rink HVAC units
  • Replace large exhaust fans located above front entrance vestibule
  • Relocate existing humidity sensors away from washrooms and to a more central location in the concourse area
  • Provide additional safety measures where the ice re-surfacer enters the ice pad
  • Modify main ductwork for more control of air flow throughout arena area
  • Update the sequence of operations of the unit and control system

Construction Start Date: March 23, 2026 (contingent on schedule of Sarnia Sting Hockey Club)

Construction End Date: July 31, 2026

Proponent Conditions:

All Proponents submitting to the noted project are required to have all the required documents as per the specifications including but not limited to:

·  Certificate of Liability Insurance

·  WSIB Clearance Certificate or equivalent

·  Required Industry Trade Certificates
