Description of Project:

  • Review of Background information and data gap assessment, and make appropriate assumptions where required.
  • Carry-out stormwater monitoring program.
  • Develop Citywide stormwater system all pipe model (1D and 2D model).
  • Assess the current capacity of the existing stormwater minor and major system against the appropriate design storm.
  • Carry-out the City-Wide Stormwater Risk Assessment to determine the severity of surface flooding, storm sewer surcharge, and roadside ditch flooding including identifying areas at risk of flooding, during specific storm event, especially focusing on the areas with no storm sewers and storm outlets.
  • Provide recommendations for infrastructure upgrades needed and further project specific analysis / assessments that may be required.

Bidders may include other tasks that may be necessary and useful to the city.

Proponent Conditions:

All Proponents submitting to the noted project are required to have all the required documents as per the specifications including but not limited to:

  • Certificate of Liability Insurance
  • WSIB Clearance Certificate or equivalent
 

The terms associated with this Procurement, may provide the opportunity for additional Public Funding Organizations (PFO) to participate after the award of the activity.

Negotiations maybe considered as part of the Procurement as outlined in the document details.

This Procurement activity may be subject to the terms of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and other trade agreements.
